What you’ll do:

• Working in an Agile way with global Product, Project and Platform teams to build, manage and support AWS Cloud and infrastructure services.

• Develop and maintain IaC scripts.

• Ensure consistent deployment of infrastructure across multiple environments.

• As FinOps, managing cloud financial operations, optimizing costs, and ensuring efficient and transparent financial management across our AWS infrastructure.

• Close collaboration with product development team in addressing identified issues in software design, bottlenecks or/and manual configuration steps.

• Contributing to definition and implementation of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools.

• Contributing to defining future system architectures which will improve stability and operational efficiency of the systems.

• Oversee application administration and operations to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Ensure compliance with security best practices and governance policies.

• Manage and mentor a team of 3rd party contractor DevOps engineers, providing guidance and technical expertise.

Required for the role:

• In depth Experience with setup, configuration and maintenance of Cloud service and Linux Operating system.

• In depth DevOps Experience with skills around automation and tools such as (but not limited to) Ansible, Github, Github actions, Lambda, Terraform, AWS cdk etc.

• Extensive experience in Cost Management and Monitor, Analyze and Optimize AWS spending trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Experience with a range of automated deployment tools.

• Good knowledge of script languages, such as Python or shell scripts

• Experience in design scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures and following security best practices.

• Experience in application administration and operations

• Stay current with industry trends, AWS capabilities, and DevOps technologies to continuously enhance skills and improve service offerings.

• Fluent oral and writing skills in English.

Desirable for the role:

• Experience in handling orchestration environment like Kubernetes / Docker

• Practical experience dealing with complex IT processes and applications

• Good knowledge in networking.

• Strong understanding and experience with ITIL frameworks and service management processes, Utilize ITIL processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services and manage service lifecycle.

• Experience in monitoring tools and log management solutions (e.g Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, Splunk, etc.)

• AWS Certified (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Self-learner who'll seek and find knowledge needed for new concepts/solutions/technologies

• Strong communication skills on a technical and professional level as well as with service oriented

• Ability to organize self and others including effective scheduling, prioritization and time management skills, completing tasks to tight deadlines
